Q: Why choose a threaded spreader roll over a curved (bowed) roll? A: While curved rolls are great for heavy-duty spreading, threaded rollers are often more compact, cost-effective, and provide a very “gentle” spread that is perfect for sensitive paper grades or applications where space is limited.
