Inflow Pressure Screen for Papermaking

Our Inflow Pressure Screen is a fine screen and a pre-net screening equipment in the pulp of the papermaking system.

Description

1. Product introduction of the Inflow Pressure Screen for Papermaking

Our Inflow Pressure Screen is a key device used in the pulp and paper industry for fine screening and pre-screening of pulp. Pulp flows from the outside of the screen drum to the inside (i.e., “inflow”), with an inlet consistency typically ranging from 0.3-0.8%. Operating in a closed pressure system, the device leverages the pressure differential between the inside and outside of the screen drum and the fluid dynamics generated by the rotor to efficiently separate fibers from impurities in the pulp. Qualified fibers (good pulp) pass through the slits or holes in the screen drum, entering the inner chamber as good pulp, while impurities are retained and discharged through the slag discharge system.

2. Product advantages and functions of the Inflow Pressure Screen for Papermaking

The pressure generated by our inflow pressure screen’s rotors prevents screen clogging, maintaining high and stable screening efficiency. It effectively removes impurities such as stickies and ink particles (especially in deinking lines) and improves stock uniformity.
Our Inflow Pressure Screen provides a smoother stock flow, facilitating subsequent wire formation on the paper machine and improving paper quality.

3. Product technical parameters and application of the Inflow Pressure Screen for Papermaking

Our Inflow Pressure Screen is the final screening step in the paper machine’s sizing system. It processes slurry with a typical concentration of 0.3%-0.8%, effectively removing fine impurities and fiber bundles, significantly reducing paper porosity and improving paper quality and production efficiency.
