Traditional stainless-steel filter dryers tend to corrode and release metallic ions under strong acidic conditions, making them unsuitable for high-purity production. To address this challenge, we developed the Glass Lined Agitator Nutsche Filter Dryer (ANFD) — a high-efficiency, acid-resistant, and contamination-free solution tailored for the battery industry.

Structure and Design Features of Glass Lined Agitator Nutsche Filter Dryer(ANFD):
1. Filtration System
Filter Plate: Carbon steel forms the filter plate, and a PFA coating provides outstanding chemical resistance and structural integrity.
Filter Cloth: We mount a PTFE filter cloth on top, customizing the mesh size to meet customer specifications for precise solid-liquid separation.
Fixing Method: PTFE bolts securely fasten the filter cloth, ensuring leak-proof performance and durability in corrosive environments.
2. Washing System
- Spray Ball: The spray ball, used for uniform cake washing, is available in titanium or PTFE, depending on the process corrosion level.
- Spray Pattern: The washing system provides uniform full-coverage spraying, ensuring thorough washing and minimal impurity retention.
3. Drying System
The drying module of the glass-lined filter-wash-dry three-in-one system can be flexibly configured based on customer process requirements.
Optional Drying Function: Not all users need drying. For filtration and washing only, removing the heating jacket and drying system simplifies the unit and reduces costs and energy use.
Heating Options: Use a hot water or steam jacket, or an electric system for higher temperatures or no steam supply.
Vacuum Drying: A vacuum system can be added to accelerate moisture removal and prevent oxidation or agglomeration.
Flexible Configuration: Whether a dual-function filter or triple-function filter dryer is needed, we provide customized setups to match production requirements.
Typical Applications & Project Cases in the Battery Industry
In the new energy battery industry, carbon nanomaterials act as key conductive additives or composite cathode materials.
They enhance battery energy density, cycle life, and conductivity.
Their production often uses HCl-based purification, requiring equipment with strong acid resistance, cleanliness, and tight sealing to prevent contamination.
To address this, we supplied a Glass-Lined Nutsche Filter (ANF) to a Serbian customer for solid-liquid separation and washing in their HCl-based carbon nanomaterial production. Thanks to its design, the filter resists HCl corrosion, delivers high-purity separation, and improves production efficiency. In addition, it reduces acid use and maintenance costs. Overall, the equipment has operated stably for over a year, performing excellently and earning positive customer feedback.
We will continue to advance our glass-lined equipment technology, thereby driving innovation in new energy, fine chemicals, and advanced materials.
At the same time, we provide global partners with safer, more efficient, cleaner, and sustainable process solutions.
Looking ahead, we aim to collaborate with new energy material manufacturers to jointly build high-standard, green, and intelligent production systems.
